
JOBS WITH BEHAVIORAL CONNECTIONS OF COLORADO
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
An RBT is certified through the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) and works 1:1 with clients implementing behavior analytic programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
The following must be met to become an RBT:

Background check

Have at least a High School diploma (a 2 or 4 year degree in a related field is preferred (e.g., special education, psychology)

Complete 40 hours of training in ABA (Training offered here!)

Pass the initial competency assessment

Take and pass the RBT exam


Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
BCBAs are certified at a graduate- level. Certification is obtained through the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board). Some duties of a BCBA include:

Provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs)

Provide caregiver training

Write, implement, and train others on treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
